The Alberto Websites are intended for use only by persons residing in the United States, its territories and possessions. This policy only applies to Alberto's information collection and use practices, through the Alberto Websites, of certain information regarding customers and other consumer visitors to the Alberto Websites. Gathering Information

Alberto may request and/or collect personal information that you elect to provide to us ("Personal Information") when you (1) register with us, (2) participate in events, contests, or promotions, (3) send questions or comments to us, (4) purchase items and/or (5) submit your resume to us online. The types of Personal Information we collect may include: contact information (e.g., name, address, phone number and email address), birth date, credit card and ID verification information, such as credit card number, date of birth, Social Security Number, and Driver's License Number, certain preferences (for example, types of preferred products, types of magazines read, etc.) and information regarding how you became aware of the Alberto Websites. At any of these times, you may have the opportunity to chose to receive promotional and/or other marketing information about products, services and offerings from Alberto. We do not participate in bulk email solicitations that you have not consented to receiving (i.e., "spam"). In such instances where you want us to remove your Personal Information from our database, you merely need to contact us at consumerrelations@alberto.com or call us at (708) 450-3005 and ask for Customer Relations. Alberto will then take all reasonable efforts to delete your Personal Information from the Alberto database within a reasonable time frame, but, please be advised that Alberto may retain some residual information about you in our backup and archival copies of our database (e.g. our records of deletion) to send you important service-related communications (e.g. materials related to your registration, your purchases and/or your account) that are not promotional in nature.

We may use cookies to obtain non-personally identifiable information from website visitors. Such information may include your "Internet Protocol Address," operating system browser type and the referring website's address, if any ("non-Personal Information").
